Nigeria’s finest Sports Lawyer have been elected Club President of Abuja Metro FC. Kelvin Omuojine who led the club from inception as interim president was elected yesterday as President in the General meeting held on August 16, 2020.
The General Meeting was conducted virtually via Zoom with members of the club in attendance. The election was conducted online and managed by the Electoral Committee.
Kelvin pulled 100% percent of the votes to emerge president while Chimaka Anagu and Yusuff Surajudeen were elected Secretary and Treasurer respectively.
Kelvin, a post-graduate of Nottingham Trent University (Masters, Sports Law) urged members to work with the new management board to push the club forward.
“We need all hands on deck to move us forward” – Kelvin, President.
“We will take the club to the next level” – Chiamaka, Secretary.
Members also pledged their support for the newly elected management board. Their tenure will expire in December 2024.
