Rhapsody FC scored a 55th minute equaliser to deny Abuja Metro FC all three points in the last group game of the Unity Cup.

Jonathan Habakkuk scored the opener in the 52nd minute with Nuhu Ismaili providing a well worked assist.

Needing at least a win in the last group game to progress from Group C and the fixture reschedule, Coach Modebe made five changes to the XI that lost to Samba FA.

Promise Anyanwu returned in goal while the Oboghare brothers started a game together for the first time in the Unity Cup.

The lads held the table toppers to a goalless first half but came out stronger in the second half.

The pressure paid off when Jonathan Habakkuk scored in the 52nd minute. But the lead was short-lived. Rhapsody FC got the equaliser three minutes later.

Leonard Eboh and Henry Jones came in for Ikenna Ekedoro and Nuhu Ismaili in the 62nd minute but they were unable to maneover the resolute Rhapsody FC defenders.

With 15 minutes to play, Modebe sent in Dupsonie Ramson and Kingsley Makama for Bernard Bitrus and Charles Utah.

The match ended 1-1 with Abuja Metro FC finishing 2 points behind the top two in Group C.

Rhapsody FC and FC International progressed to the Quarter finals from Group C.
